2004 Cabernet Sauvignon - SOLD OUT
This is a very dark hue wine, with deep and lush fruit flavors. Because of the low quantities of the grapes, we were only able to yield 112 cases. It is very concentrated with bittersweet chocolate and bing cherries on the finish. This great wine shows an incredible velvety mouth feel. This wine is very balanced with good structure that will last through out the meal, the flavors of the wine last forever in your mouth. You could lie this down for 15 years or it is very good now. I suggest having this with a good grilled steak or pepper steak, for the vegetarian, this is great with a Tai Red curry dish. |
2003 Cabernet Franc
This wine is ruby red wine with layers of all kinds of fruits and flavors. It is big in mocha and blueberry. It was aged in new French oak and those great vanilla flavors really come through on the finish. We made 298 cases and this wine has been a very popular wine for Marshall Family Wines. It is mostly Calistoga Cabernet Franc fruit and a small amount of Rutherford dust Cabernet Franc. It was aged in the French oak for 24 months. We picked this on September 10 th at 25.8 brix. It shows great acidity at 3.65 ph and this is the wine that could age for 8 to 10 years. This wine would be perfect with Lamb dishes. |
2006 Barry's Blend Pinot Noir
This beautiful bottle of wine shows everything you want in a Pinot Noir. Bursting with fruit and a creamy palate with cola notes, this wine tastes of raspberry, cherry and has a dark rich color. This wine is rich in every stage of tasting, a great upfront fruit, a full mid palate and a very long finish. Drink it now or hold it for three to five years. It was aged in French oak and it comes from both, Russian River and Mendocino, We are very pleased with the way this wine turned out. It is the perfect wine to go with the holiday dinners or just sitting around and enjoying life. |
2005 Gamay Noir
This wine is the perfect summer red. Light, fruity, lower in alcohol, it is traditionally one of the oldest varietals in the Valley. The grapes used to make this wine come from 70 year old vines located just inside the Sonoma border in Calistoga. We had fun picking these grapes and the cuts and stings prove it. Picked at 21 brix it took only days to dry this wine out. We aged this wine for 6 months in new French oak to add some complexity. We suggest chilling this wine down just a bit and serving it with cold sandwiches and salads.

2005 Barbera Rosé
The Marshall Family Wines Barbera Rosé comes from Kelly’s family vineyard. Michael Duarte (her cousin) grows 3 acres of Barbera in Placer County. Hand manicured, this rosé shows strong strawberries and cream nose and the finish is ruby red grapefruit. When we made this wine we dried it right to 0% sugar. This wine is very similar to Sauvignon Blanc in its dryness. It’s been a hit with the winemakers through out Napa. This wine is the deck wine. Give it a good chill and serve it with appetizers. This Rosé will go fast.

2003 Syrah - SOLD OUT
The Marshall Family Wines Syrah comes from the Catlin Farms Pope Valley Vineyards. Rich and concentrated with saturated flavors of blackberry and plum, it’s smooth and polished with fine tannins and excellent acidity. Rich, complex and intensely flavored, it's filled to the brim with plum, blackberry, black cherry and currants. It's young, but oh-so-temptingly drinkable now and perfect with anything grilled . Great for the down home BBQ ribs and chicken.
